Astro Diner Scoring and Stars
Last updated: June 2026
Scoring in Astro Diner rewards clean service, order selection, and steady improvement. This reference explains what the current build tracks and how those numbers shape world progress.
Transparent service scoring
Phase 2 exposes a score detail panel after successful serves. The panel is generated from the same pure scoring model used by the order-serving module, so the visible factors match real gameplay events.
| Scoring Factor | Description | Strategy Tip |
|---|---|---|
| Customer value | Each customer archetype has a starting payout. | Regular diners keep the lane stable, Rush Guests pay more for quick attention, Premium Critics reward careful service, and Bonus Tippers make clean mid-pressure choices profitable. |
| Speed bonus | Healthy patience adds a small bonus. | Serve before a customer drops into danger to bank the speed bonus. This rewards reading the easiest complete ticket instead of waiting for every order to become urgent. |
| Perfect bonus | Fast high-patience serves add a clean-service bonus. | Perfect serves depend on fast timing and strong patience. They are best chased after the ingredient order is obvious and the queue is not about to lose a life. |
| Combo multiplier | Consecutive serves increase payout up to a cap. | Wrong builds and missed customers break momentum, so the best combo play is steady exact service. Short tickets protect the chain when several customers arrive together. |
| Premium multiplier | Premium ingredient orders pay double. | The premium license adds Dark Matter recipes to released worlds. These orders are valuable, but they should wait until the player can read the extra ingredient without breaking accuracy. |
| Frenzy multiplier | Frenzy boosts payouts while active. | Frenzy turns recent clean service into a temporary payout window. During frenzy, choose exact orders quickly and avoid speculative plates that would waste the multiplier. |
| Contract bonus | Completed contracts add separate payout. | Contracts pay after their goal is completed and are listed apart from the serve reward. The score panel separates this bonus so players can see which credits came from the live order. |
Customer value
Each customer archetype has a starting payout.
Regular diners keep the lane stable, Rush Guests pay more for quick attention, Premium Critics reward careful service, and Bonus Tippers make clean mid-pressure choices profitable.
Speed bonus
Healthy patience adds a small bonus.
Serve before a customer drops into danger to bank the speed bonus. This rewards reading the easiest complete ticket instead of waiting for every order to become urgent.
Perfect bonus
Fast high-patience serves add a clean-service bonus.
Perfect serves depend on fast timing and strong patience. They are best chased after the ingredient order is obvious and the queue is not about to lose a life.
Combo multiplier
Consecutive serves increase payout up to a cap.
Wrong builds and missed customers break momentum, so the best combo play is steady exact service. Short tickets protect the chain when several customers arrive together.
Premium multiplier
Premium ingredient orders pay double.
The premium license adds Dark Matter recipes to released worlds. These orders are valuable, but they should wait until the player can read the extra ingredient without breaking accuracy.
Frenzy multiplier
Frenzy boosts payouts while active.
Frenzy turns recent clean service into a temporary payout window. During frenzy, choose exact orders quickly and avoid speculative plates that would waste the multiplier.
Contract bonus
Completed contracts add separate payout.
Contracts pay after their goal is completed and are listed apart from the serve reward. The score panel separates this bonus so players can see which credits came from the live order.
Combo multiplier progression
Serving consecutive plates without errors builds your combo multiplier. Every mistake resets the combo back to 1x.
| Combo Level | Multiplier Effect | Accuracy Requirement |
|---|---|---|
| Combo x1 (Base) | 1.0x Score value | Baseline starting payout |
| Combo x2 | 1.2x Payout boost | 2 consecutive perfect or accurate serves |
| Combo x3 | 1.5x Payout boost | 4 consecutive serves without waste |
| Combo x4 (Cap) | 2.0x Double payout multiplier | 6+ consecutive perfect serves in same shift |
Scoring review checklist
A fair scoring page should answer what creates value, what creates risk, and what the player can change on the next run. Astro Diner currently answers those through order payouts, combo and perfect serve tracking, star pace, difficulty settings, missions, and result-screen recommendations.
The page avoids claiming a hidden formula that the interface does not expose. Instead, it names the visible levers players can inspect: finish more exact tickets, protect patience, keep combos alive, buy upgrades that match the bottleneck, and choose difficulty based on learning or mastery.
